Cassis Calanques constitute, in Provence, a classified site of 4,000 hectares of nearly 20 km long and 4 km wide on the municipalities of Marseille, Cassis, and La Ciotat. We spent a day in 2005 exploring these wonders.
Morgiou, Sugiton, Devenson, Port-Pin, and Port-Miou are the most famous Calanques. Hiking enthusiasts will be delighted by the ridge trail that allows you to discover them. Many boat trips offer quicker access by the sea, but nothing is worth the discovery of these magnificent Calanques, and what a joy, after the effort, to dive into the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean.
These few photos are a memory of these unforgettable moments in these Calanques that I invite of course to discover.
